Morning and the noon was really hot that day, I think summer was showing its angry face. But as the evening arrived, clouds showed up, out showing the summer. Wind also marked its arrival. Hamid couldn't resist any more after seeing the weather as he was a nature lover. He got up and tied his shoes and went out for a nice walk. He walked for a mile with lots of joy but something in the path made difficult to continue his walk. It started raining. As usual it started with soft and pleasant rain but it soon turned out to be thunder storm. Hamid was really cross then. He immediately went under a tree. Hamid was cursing, saying “huh..!!..What is this god….not now! You are so rude. You don’t give an opportunity to a nature lover…!!
Then a voice came “god is ocean of love and patience, my son!” .Hamid was startled and thought that god replied but when he looked to his right there was a wise man standing whose honest eyes were as deep as oceans. Hamid asked immediately “how can you say that?”
There was quick reply from the other side as if the man knew what the question would be. He replied “God is divine. He doesn’t work according to your will. He has some bigger projects to work on. We don’t have power to go against him. Least that we can do is ENJOY. Enjoy this weather’s every moment.
Hamid thought little and asked “what are those projects?”
He replied with a calm tone “what if there is no rain??...if you don’t need something today may be millions of people may be dying for it...? God is ocean of kindness and no one can compete with him”
Hamid was so touched with his words. He came to know that whatever god do is a gift from his side. After a while he came back from his thoughts and asked the man “what is your name…….?”
But the man was gone. He looked for him everywhere in the almighty rain but he wasn’t there.
But that day he learnt a PRICELESS LESSON.
